Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 11 tbsp Butter softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 12 ounces Mini Chocolate Chips

Method

  1. Prepare the dough. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  2. Combine the dough. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Add the chocolate chips. Fold in the mini chocolate chips. This may look like A LOT of chocolate chips. You're right, it is. This is part of what makes these cookies irresistible.
  4. Scoop the dough. Scoop small portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart to allow for spreading.
  5. Bake. Bake at 375F for 8 to 9 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
  6. Cool and serve. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve and enjoy.
