Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Gochujang
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Minced Ginger

Method

  1. Whisk the base. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger.
  2. Simmer and thicken. Bring to a low boil, then reduce to a simmer for 4-5 minutes. If a thicker glaze is desired, mix 1 tsp of cornstarch with 1 tbsp of water and stir it in. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  3. Cool and store. Let the sauce cool, then transfer it to a jar or an airtight container before storing in the refrigerator or using on your favorite cut of meat.
