Ingredients

  • 20 Hawaiian Rolls
  • 20 Frozen Meatballs
  • 1 1/4 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese
  • 3 tbsp Butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning

Method

  1. Defrost the meatballs. Place the meatballs in the refrigerator overnight and allow them to defrost completely. If you forgot, no big deal. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and defrost them using the defrost setting.
  2. Prep the Hawaiian rolls. Use a sharp knife to remove a quarter-sized portion from the top of each Hawaiian roll. Cut slowly to ensure you don’t cut through the bottom of the roll. You will want to leave approximately 1/2” of roll at the bottom. Place the prepared rolls in a 9×13” baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
  3. Add the filling. Carefully spoon a small amount of marinara sauce into the bottom of each hollowed-out Hawaiian roll. Add a meatball on top of the shredded cheese. Place the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs.
  4. Add the toppings. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Use a basting brush to coat the tops of the stuffed Meatball Sliders.
  5. Bake to perfection. Place the pan of sliders in an oven preheated to 375F. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the meatballs are warmed through and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve and enjoy! Serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
