Ingredients

  • 15 ounce Strawberry Cake Mix
  • 2 cups Whipped Topping
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar

Method

  1. Mix the Dough. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg. Stir until fully combined. The dough will be very soft and sticky. This is normal and exactly what you want.
  2. Form and Roll. Scoop the dough into 1-tablespoon portions. Roll each dough ball generously in powdered sugar until completely coated. Don’t worry about covering all of that cute pink cookie dough. The thick coating is what creates that classic crinkled look. It exposes the vibrant pink centers through the cracks once they're baked.
  3. Bake. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, just until the tops are crackled and the edges are set. The centers will look soft, but they’ll firm up as the cookies cool.
